An excellent heat
reduction option is sun-control window screening, commonly known as sunscreens.
These screens have a dense weave and are often made of fiberglass or
polyester. This chart shows a
window with Brown SunTex® screening installed. In midsummer as much as 230 BTUs can fall on
each unprotected square foot of glass. With SunTex® installed, up to 80 - 90 % of the sun's heat and glare is reflected,
absorbed and dissipated before it strikes the window. READ MORE ON SUNTEX®.
Frame & screen work,
and rescreening are core services of Arizona Sun Control.
Our frames
are heavy duty with a baked-on enamel finish in
gray, white, tan, and dark brown. If you do not have your old
frames, no problem, we will measure them for you.We will meet with you and discuss your sunscreen options, and
measure and install. We will come to your home or business and rescreen windows and doors on site! All screens are
guaranteed to fit. We can handle all of your commercial or residential
sunscreen needs.
Don't forget, we install screens on your storm doors too. This
is especially important if you have pets. Special sun-control
"pet-resistant" screening is available for windows and doors.
This allows you to leave the primary door open to get natural
ventilation without worrying your pet may tear through screens.
